Electronic Filing (eFiling)

eFiling goes live Monday, September 14, 2026 at 8:00am PST.

The Superior Court of California, County of Amador is pleased to announce that electronic filing will be available beginning Monday, September 14, 2026 at 8:00am PST. eFiling allows attorneys, attorney service companies, and self-represented parties to submit documents to the Court electronically, at any hour, without traveling to the courthouse.

On this page you will find the case types the Court is currently accepting through eFiling, our Frequently Asked Questions, and a list of approved Electronic Filing Service Providers (EFSPs).

Case Types Currently Accepted

At launch, the Court will accept both case initiation and subsequent filings in the following case types:

  • Civil — Limited Jurisdiction
  • Civil — Unlimited Jurisdiction
  • Small Claims

All other case types will be added in a future phase. Any expansion of eFiling to additional case types will be announced on this page.

Electronic Filing Service Providers (EFSPs)

All electronic filings must be submitted through an approved Electronic Filing Service Provider. Fees, features, and customer support vary by provider; filers may choose any approved provider.

The Court does not endorse or recommend any particular Electronic Filing Service Provider and is not responsible for the fees charged, the service provided, or any technical difficulty experienced by a filer in connection with a provider's system.
