Access to Confidential Information

There is no online access to information in cases that are classified as confidential. Examples of confidential cases include most cases filed with the Juvenile Court and cases in which a judicial determination of paternity is sought. Only those persons as authorized by state law or order of the court may review court records or case information in confidential cases.

Information Updates

Information appears online as soon as it is entered into the case management system. Every attempt is made to keep the case information up to date. However, some information may not be entered until several days after the event occurred.

Identity Accuracy

Do not assume that a person listed in this database is the person you are looking for.
The Court cautions employers, credit agencies, and others to verify identity before taking any adverse action against a person whose name appears in this database. Additional identifying information may be available in the case file. To request a copy of documents from the case file, see Access Court Files/Records

Do not assume a person listed as a defendant in a criminal or traffic case was convicted of the charges listed in the complaint or on the citation. The defendant could have been found not guilty, charges reduced or the case dismissed.

Case Code Variations and Search Tips

Case information entered into the court's Case Management system may include additional code identifying letters beyond what might appear on documents obtained from the court.

For example: The case number 11-FC-99999 entered onto a hardcopy document may be entered into the system as 11-FCD-99999. While using the online search feature, the "FCD" added into the case number
11-FCD-99999 would locate the case. Please note that the hyphen ("-") character is NOT required in the case number.

Knowing the category type ( FC for FAMILY and D for DISSOLUTION ) would assist you in more easily applying a successful search and locating your case information.

Publicly Available - "Case Type codes"

Please Note: ( 3 and 4 letter case codes ) are relevant to cases entered prior to 02/14/22. Cases entered after 02/14/22 use only 2 letters case codes. Ex. (CV, PR, FC) etc...
